Please send any questions you are interested in asking a candidate. Please indicate if the question is addressed to a city commission candidate or county commissioner candidate. Would You Like To Teach Spanish?

We are looking for someone who would be interested in teaching Spanish. Please contact Mimi Carter if you are interested or know of someone who would like to teach the language to residents of Victoria Gardens.

Key Fob Reminder
As explained in a letter mailed to all Victoria Gardens Residents on July 3, Liftmaster Key Fobs for gate entry will no longer function.

Beginning on August 1, 2014, we will be removing the old failing transmitter from the front gate so that both gates will function with the new key fob. New fobs can be purchased at the Community Management building at 1475 E. Taylor Road at a cost of $25 each. For those who do not wish to purchase a new key fob, you will still be able to utilize the key pad to gain entry into the community.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 386-738-2112.
Pool Rules
As a friendly reminder, all pool rules are to be adhered to at all times including no diving, running, jumping, etc., in and around the pool area for your safety and the safety of others.
  • Please remember to always use good judgment during storms when using the pool.  The pool is closed when lightning and thunder is present.
  • When having guests who are children, it is the responsibility of the adult to make sure they are following the rules as well.
Thank you in advance for helping to ensure the club is a fun and safe environment for everyone. For a full list of policies, please refer to the posted rules outside the café doors and near the outdoor restrooms.
Wildlife Reminder
Victoria Park is home to various different types of wildlife, and bear sightings in particular have increased as of late.  Please be sure to always use caution and keep an eye out for wildlife when you're outdoors.
Architectural Review Committee Opening
The Architectural Review Committee has an opening for another member. Victoria Gardens homeowners who are interested in serving on this committee should contact Chuck Moscato at 386-873-2897. ARC meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m.

TRAVEL CLUB: The travel club has numerous upcoming trips planned and invites all residents to join them. You can view  the upcoming trips by clicking here. For more information on the trips, please contact the person indicated for each trip with your interest or questions.

MAHJONG OPEN PLAY is held every Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Multipurpose room throughout the summer.
WOMEN'S CLUB OUTREACH PROJECT: The VG Women's Club is putting together 50 toiletry gift bags for women and men to be donated via The Good Samaritan Clinic in DeLand. Please help them reach this worthy goal by donating:

A Kid's Summer Night's Dream

Saturday, August 16 | 10 a.m.

Victoria  Commons Amphitheatre

Join us for a kid-friendly, ten minute production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" put on by local children ages 7 -13. Lifestyle will provide donuts and juice for those in attendance. Please bring your blankets and lawn chairs! In case of rain, the performance will take place at the Victoria Trails Amenity Center. Please RSVP on Active Net or phone 386-738-2112. The class and production was organized by Victoria Hills resident Ron Song Destro, who runs the Oxford Shakespeare Company in New York.
